Nausea
Rating:
Nausea is a common symptom of
different types of motion sickness such as carsickness and seasickness. It is
also a usual and representative symptom associated with cybersickness. Golding & Kerguelen (1992)
proposed a 7-point nausea rating in assessing the motion sickness experienced
by their experiment participants. This scale has been adopted in various motion
sickness related research (Lo, 1998; So et al., 2001; So et al., 2001a; Woodman
& Griffin, 1997).
